Aerodynamics, Ventilation & Fire in Tunnels 2017
On the 13th of september, FESG presented their work on the 17th International Symposium on Aerodynamics, Ventilation & Fire Tunnels (ISAVFT 2017 in Lyon, France). FESG had the opportunity to share knowledge about the state of the art in tunnel’s ventilation. There were many interesting topics, including: Interaction between designers and fire services New energy carriers and how to implement them in fire risk analysis Interaction between ventilation and suppression in underground structures Optimising ventilation strategies in order to limit evacuation times The conference allowed FESG to be challenged on their methodology and solutions by other world leading experts.
